In this, Elogy helps to define workflows, designs the architecture, selects building blocks and develops the integration software.

With this experience, various innovative and seamlessly integrated production environments are delivered for public, commercial and regional broadcasters. The desired workflows are most important in this process. Elogy will then, brand independent, help with the selection of the required building blocks and integrate these into one environment. CONSULTANCY, REVIEWING AND EXPLORATION

During a consultancy process, Elogy will always include a reality check based on it's hands-on experience. This check is also done because Elogy can, optionally, provide the next steps in a project. So, Elogy has equal interest in a solid advice as you have. Technology is still progressing very fast. For many parties, it is becoming more difficult to assess the significance and potential of new technology. Elogy can explore and test new technologies and map the implications for your objectives.

Elogy can test systems and evaluate technical proposals and quotes for you. In this process, Elogy can intermediate as an independent party. The results of a review can be brought forward objectively without your direct relation to your partner or supplier being affected.

DESIGN AND SELECTION

In a design process, the intended workflows are leading. Elogy helps organizations defining these workflows by listing the technical and functional options and bringing in experience. Then, the architecture can be defined and a system design can be made. In addition to the workflows, manageability, scalability, and financial feasibility aspects are included. As always, a reality check will also be part of the process. Next, Elogy can define the selection of the required building blocks with you. These will include the required elements for an AV production environment such as editing-, redaction-, ingest-, playout-, transcoding-, storage-, and MAM-systems.

DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

An important part of the Elogy services is the (software) development for integration of AV-/IT-/Telecom-systems and implementation of the intended workflows. This can be a follow-up of an earlier, by Elogy executed, design process. It might also be based on an existing design or existing environment. Additionally to it's experience, Elogy will include the most recent innovations and developments. The software will be documented and developed using open architectures. Please note that in most projects some custom development will be required.

Elogy is a small company, so a frequent question arises about the continuity of the services: Elogy is a certified development partner to many suppliers (such as Avid), delivers these services for nearly 15 years (see track record) and can make agreements about availability of source code for each project. As a final step in a project, Elogy can deliver hands-on training to users and administrators. Professional project management is in many cases crucial but is sometimes underestimated or performed with little practical knowledge. If required, Elogy can provide project management or assist the project manager.
