ADVIES, REVIEWING EN VERKENNING

Elogy zal in een advies altijd een reality check meenemen op basis van de eigen hands-on ervaring. Deze check wordt mede gedaan omdat Elogy, optioneel, de vervolgstappen in een project voor u kan verzorgen. Elogy heeft dus net zoveel belang bij een goed advies als u. De technologische vooruitgang blijft erg snel gaan. Voor veel partijen wordt het steeds moeilijker de betekenis en mogelijkheden van nieuwe technologie in te schatten. Elogy kan nieuwe technologie voor u verkennen, testen en de betekenis daarvan voor uw doelstellingen in kaart brengen.

Elogy kan technische voorstellen en offertes beoordelen en systemen voor u testen. Hierbij kan Elogy voor u als onafhankelijke partij optreden. De aandachtspunten uit een review kunnen objectief naar voren gebracht worden zonder dat uw directe relatie met uw partner of leverancier aangetast wordt.

ONTWERP EN SELECTIE

In een ontwerp proces zijn de beoogde werkprocessen leading. Elogy helpt organisaties deze werkprocessen te bepalen door o.a. de technisch/functionele mogelijkheden beperkingen aan te geven en ervaring in te brengen. Vervolgens kan de architectuur bepaald worden en een systeemontwerp gemaakt worden. Naast de werkprocessen worden o.a. beheerbaarheid, schaalbaarheid en financiële haalbaarheid meegenomen. Ook hier zal een reality check onderdeel zijn van het ontwerp proces. Vervolgens kan Elogy de selectie van de benodigde bouwstenen met u bepalen. Denk hierbij o.a. aan de benodigde onderdelen voor een AV productie omgeving zoals editing-, redactie-, ingest-, playout-, transcoding-, opslag- en MAM-systemen.

ONTWIKKELING EN IMPLEMENTATIE

Een belangrijk onderdeel van de Elogy diensten is de (software) ontwikkeling voor het integreren van AV-/IT-/Telecom-systemen en het implementeren van de beoogde mwerkprocessen. Dit kan een vervolgstap zijn op een eerder, door Elogy uitgevoerd, ontwerp proces maar kan ook op basis van een al bestaand ontwerp of een bestaande omgeving gedaan worden. Naast de jarenlange ervaring zal Elogy hierin de meest recente technische trends en ontwikkelingen inbrengen. De software wordt gedocumenteerd en opgezet op basis van een open architectuur (zoals een Services Oriented Architecture) maar custom development zal bijna altijd nodig zijn.

Elogy is een klein bedrijf, dus een terechte vraag gaat over de continuïteit van dienstverlening: Elogy is een gecertificeerde development partner van vele leveranciers (zoals Avid), levert al ruim 18 jaar deze diensten (zie trackrecord) en kan per project afspraken over de beschikbaarheid van sourcecodes maken. Ter afsluiting van een project kan Elogy hands-on trainingen voor gebruikers en beheerders leveren. Projectleiding is uiteraard een belangrijk onderdeel van een project, soms wordt dat onderschat of uitgevoerd met te weinig inhoudelijke kennis. In deze gevallen kan Elogy, indien gewenst, tevens de projectleiding verzorgen of de projectleider ondersteunen.
